The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is currently seeking public comments on proposed rules to restore the Climate Protection Program (CPP).
Last year, the oil and gas industry sued to overturn the Climate Protection Program because it will require oil and gas companies to cut 90% of their climate pollution by 2050. The program will also enable upwards of $150 million annually for clean energy projects in our state.
